Across the country, state legislation has stripped funding, staff, and entire offices that once supported Black students on college campuses — often with little warning. We welcome the support universities can offer, but we've learned we can't build our future on something that isn't ours to keep.
So we're building it ourselves. Every Block is student-run and independently owned — not a university program, not a line someone else can cut. What we build, we keep.
